Announcement: Needed: Emergency Blood Transfusion Recipient
Mar 17, 2010 - 11:39 PM - by YMC
<div>I am working on a project - for myself as well as for school.

I'm searching for someone who has received an emergency blood transfusion who would be willing to be interviewed (and possibly filmed). The project will be shown to my professor and class, and included in my portfolio.

This is a short-term notice sort of thing - I need an answer by ths weekend. For anything after that, I won't be able to film (thanks to technology, a digital camera can accomplish that).

Thanks, and let me know through a PM.

Lincoln Park: Man shot to death saving a child
Mar 17, 2010 - 11:39 PM - by YMC
<div>Did you read about the man who was shot to death why rescuing a child?

Some people got into an argument over a stolen car. They started shooting at each other. They had machine guns.

A man pulled a little boy out of the way and ended up getting shot and killed.

And some will claim these men had a Constitutional Right to own a machine gun.

This is what happens to gunowners. They get into an argument and the next thing you know they are shooting their guns.

Wouldn't and couldn't happen if they did not own a gun.

<div>Maybe Lincoln Park should consider a volunteer police squad to work alongside the few remainig PO's if the millage does not pass. Bring back the bikes. There are probebly alot of people looking for something rewarding to do. After watching the City Council meeting last night, someone should arrest Mayor Vaslow for being rude to the people who come up to the podium and speak. He never say's thank you, only NEXT. These people take time out of their day to bring up important matters to the counsel and it seems to go unappreciated or even unnoticed. I did like Mr. Murphy's closing speech. It was very true and kinda hit home. Thank you... [Read More]
