Here's the deal in a nutshell. A new READ ONLY topic will be started in the Site Issues forum and all off topic posts will be in this topic. It will be a mish mosh of various posts that are moved from a topic because the post was off topic.
There has been a huge increase in the amount of off topic posts and it has been too time consuming to try and move these topics to a more appropriate topic.
This has becoming an issue for the last few months and impacts the members as a whole because topics started by members are more or less hijacked because of off topic posts and then members reading the topics lose interest in that topic.
This is an unfair to the members and to the readers and causes a huge strain on the volunteers that moderate this site.
The bottom line is this: if you don't want your post added to this catchall topic then stay on topic.
We will also be merging duplicate topics in effort to speed of the forums and reduce the forum clutter.
You can help us to reduce the off topics posts by doing this:

There is an easier way to help in this endeavor then sending pms, emails etc and that is:
Click the report post on the offending post.
This way you don't have to send pms, etc. and it's a quick click of the Report Post Icon.
It is located just above the Join Date of each topic next to the reputation icon.
Once a post is reported, then all the moderators will recieve a notification and then we can move the posts to this topic.
