Date of Birth: January 29, 1983
Age: 21 years old
Height and Weight: 5'11 - 6'0, 190 - 240 pounds
Distinguishing Characteristics: African-American male. Brown hair, brown eyes. Hansen has used several aliases in the past, including Scott Goodman.
Medical Conditions: Hansen suffers from a delusional disorder caused by an enclosed head injury sustained from a car crash. He is required to take antipsychotic medication and may not have been taking it at the time of his disappearance. Hansen is not violent, but caution is advised when approaching him.
Details of DisappearanceHansen was last seen in Martin, Michigan on July 4, 2004. His sister reported him missing. On April 6, 2005, ten months after his disappearance, his car, a dark blue Saturn with a vanity license plate reading "TOPH," was found abandoned near Burdick and Kalamazoo streets in Kalamazoo, Michigan, near a train station parking lot. Photographs of the vehicle are posted below this case summary. It was impounded; the area was under construction and signs were posted warning drivers that their cars would be towed if they parked there.
It is thought that Hansen may still be in the local area and may be staying in shelters or on the streets. His case remains unsolved.
