WELCOME to Your Michigan---it’s not just a mitt on a map!
We are a people who come from ALL walks of life---from the waitress who pours your second cup of coffee to the teacher who spots the glimmer of recognition in your child’s eyes to the head of a company who may be hiring or firing to the elected official whose casting vote can change our very lives. We are a people that have a rich history in the making of this Great Lakes State that began with the early Indian settlers through the great industrialization and up to the struggle of making a living in a land emptied of living jobs. We have become a people who, despite our struggles, truly care about our state and want to stay here because this is our home.
We have come together to create this site to help educate ourselves in current events, decisions being made affecting our livelihood, where to go to right the wrongs, help others who need more than we do, brainstorming among all our communities, and promoting the good of our Michigan. We care about uniting ourselves as a whole state, not just the fragmented haves and have-nots. We are also a Michigan who loves to have fun! We have everything from the great outdoors to our great vacation spots to our concerts and to our great sense of humor (just ask us about Michigan weather!!).
From Ada to Zilwaukee, we want to hear YOUR concerns, YOUR ideas, and YOUR opinions about how we can turn Michigan back to a place where people flock TO and not FROM.
We care about our loved ones that are missing and our loved ones who are away at war. We care about our children, about our elderly, about our battered and abused, and about those who have not received justice. We want to help you with ideas to make that stretched dollar stretch even more. We want to hear YOUR opinions on how to make this Great State even greater!
