People throughout this state have endless opinions as to what's going on in this state

Without question something is going on, but what is it?

Nobody can seem to answer this question

Businesses are leaving left and right and thousands of jobs are just disappearing

Is it the politics?

The taxes?

The insurance?

WHAT!!!

I think it's largely the focus on it being one issue that drives the problem further. We have to know that we have many issues that need to be addressed in this state and nation at large.
On the business in Michigan aspect many corporations are leaving our state because of how bad it is here. Also we are focusing on the wrong things. Is it necessary to have a head quarters here or is it better to have a plant or branch here? Some is better than none and we should welcome in whatever we can.
That being said I think that much of our issues have come about because of health insurance and trade issues.
Michigan or at least the area that I am from is heavily based on manufacturing jobs all of which are relocating overseas. Even much of the computer science jobs are going overseas.
Politics plays a huge role as well but much of it is emcompassed in what I have posted in my opinion of course.

In the state of the union address the gov. stressed the need for alternative energies

She mentioned that this would be a good source for our state to bring in new jobs

She also stated that Michigan is in a perfect location for wind energy of which is 2nd in the nation for wind

Great ideas, but will these ideas be put to use?
