Hitting the Thanks Button

I've noticed that whenever I hit the thanks button HERE, the thread "reloads" rather than just my signature under thanks appearing at the bottom of the page like it did THERE. It slows things down.

I noticed that too the other day and I am looking into why this is happening... It's ajax code that is causing this.
