I was an Army spouse for just under ten years and I also worked for the Army in Germany as a civilian, so I will be posting my stories here as well.

My Nephew is leaving for Iraq in the Fall. Two of his Uncle's (on his dad's side) are currently in Iraq and both are there on their second tour.

My best friends son just got back from Iraq after his fourth tour of duty there. He's coming home to visit (Lincoln Park) at the end of this month. I'm looking very forward to seeing him! His brother is leaving for Iraq at the end of the summer! The nephew of the same best friend just got back from his second tour of duty in Iraq.

Each branch of the Military is represented by everyone I mentioned above. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Navy Seals, and the Coast Guard. Two of the above are MP's.

I'm hoping and praying this all ends soon. I really don't want to see my nephew go over there. Hope this doesn't sound selfish.
