Green,

If you are going to write about a SPECIFIC Sears Center, you should put the city in the title where it is located. Remember, this is a state website. Thanks!

a few years ago the Michigan Economic Development Corporation had this to say on it's website about the Sears Shopping Center...
"Great selections, quality merchandise and fabulous savings for the savvy shopper on merchandise including sports equipment, clothing, music, footwear, electronics, health & beauty, toys, home furnishings and appliances, books, office supplies, fitness center, card shops, grocery store, finance/banking, general merchandisers, entertainment/theatre, casual dining and more. Anchor stores include nationally known retailers such as Big Boy, Drug Emporium, Dunham's Sports, Chinese Buffet, Funcoland, One Price Clothing, Harmony House, Famous Footwear, Dress Barn, Tuxedo's, Payless Shoes, Radio Shack, Imperial Sports, GNC, Dollar Tree Stores, Loeks Theatre, Old Navy, Toy Works, Sunrise Fashions, The Avenue, Rainbow, Sibley Shoes, Borics Haircare, Dots Fashions, Homestead Maytag, Betty's Hallmark, Complete Rehab, Giant Typewriter, Farmer Jack, Wendy's, Sears and Michigan National Bank."
How many of these are still open there?

"If" Walmart builds in Lincoln Park, MI Sear shopping Centre which City will get the taxes, as I understood the property is partially on Lincoln Park AND Allen Park?

I believe the taxes will be shared on a percentage basis. For example, if the property is 70 percent in Allen Park, then they would get 70 percent of the taxes.

If I am incorrect in this assessment, someone feel free to chime in.

Wouldn't each city get their "share" based upon how much of the business is in their individual city?

Now, if there are any tax abatements...each city will receive less. (Just an afterthought...nothing concrete.)
