President Bush is scheduled to sign the "economic stimulus plan" today. Once the IRS is finished with the current tax filing season, the rebate checks will begin to be sent out to taxpayers/citizens. It is said the checks will begin arriving in May.
My questions are:
Do you believe this "economic stimulus" will help the US economy (and, in partciular, Michigan's economy)?
If so, how?
If not, why?
This is an area of discussion that has many pros and cons...depending upon whom you talk to and the way the questions are worded. But, I do believe how we feel about this plan will generally pull the economy in that direction (but, not entirely).
So, what's your opinion/thought on this stimulus plan?
