Governor Granholm will be in Washington, D.C. for the winter meeting of the National Governors Association where the nation's governors will focus on making the nation a global leader in energy efficiency, clean energy technology, alternative fuels use, and energy research.

You can’t say that she is not trying to invest in one of the 50 fastest-growing industries in the nation, alternative energy industries as a way to offset jobs lost in manufacturing here in Michigan.

You got me with the Title. I thought it was going to be about the November Presidental Election and getting the Michingan Democrats Delgates seated at the convention.
If she can help bring jobs to Michigan (while the other 49 states are fighting for the same job), it would be good. But, these jobs gotta pay more than $8-$9 an hour.
