I know in my small hometown and in many of my neighboring communities, Comcast is the only option for broadband internet. A bill was just introduced in the House on February 12th that may change these practices and give other companies a fair shot. Network Neutrality is a big up and coming issue and Save the Internet.com covers a lot of the legislation that deals with these issues.

Thanks for your contribution to this site. Broadband options are imperative if we are going to aid communities in providing services to their citizens. More and more having affordable, speedy internet is the great social equalizer. As more communities obtain Wifi capabilities access to the web becomes the library of the future. As it does so, and with the increasing commercialization of the web, it behooves us to find ways to balance things on the web.

BTW Mckenn55 got the school colors right (green and white) but you missed the campus by about 75 miles. LOL
Glad to have you aboard!
