The Central Lake District Library is located at 7900 Maple St. in downtown Central Lake.
The hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Children's Saturday activities include:
A children's movie at 11:00 on the first Saturday;
Dino Kids at 10:30 on the second Saturday;
Story Hour at 11:00 on the third Saturday;
and a teen computer game contest at 1:00 on the fourth Saturday.
For children under 12, parents are expected to be available for these children’s activities. There are noiw 10 computers available for patron use with high speed internet, and wireless is also available for laptop users. You can now sign up to get on the waiting list for the newest books and audio books that will be coming to the library.
Other Library activities or events include the Brown Bag Book Club, the Book Friendly Cottage, and the “Last Wednesday” Film Series.
