Just a quick question or two:

With these projects, wouldn't the jobs be temporary (until the projects were completed)?

After the road projects are completed, what happens to these employees? Unemployed again?

And, again...Where is this money going to come from? I thought the State of Michigan had a budget crisis (or was that eliminated once our income taxes were raised)?

Just wondering...that's all.

LPT, I believe you got it EXACTLY right regarding the workers. Where the money comes from---your guess is as good as mine. We always hear that the gas taxes go for roads. If that is true, our roads should be as smooth as silk, rather than cement swiss cheese!!!

Jenny spent all of that money to go to Japen, and this is the best solution she can come up with. This is just a false sense of prosperity to those in construction.

Jenny's trying to make us feel good. But, we had better watch it. I don't believe this is being open and honest. We are going to get hit one way or another. (Michigan does not have this money. It has to come from some place...and it will probably be the taxpayers.)

Hide your wallet, purse, and checkbook. They are going to come after every penny they can!
