Mathison's Hardware Closing

Mathison's Hardware on Ford west of Merriman has a sign out, going out of business, whole store 50% off. Sad to see this business go. Has been in town for decades.

Wow, they have been there a long time. It seems it doesn't matter what type of business one has---they are all hurting right now, aren't they?

I remember during the recession in the early 80's that businesses went missing who had been there for forty years. This is the first time I can remember having that same feeling.
