Lt. Governor John D. Cherry, Jr., Senate Majority Leader Michael D. Bishop, House Speaker Andy Dillon, Senate Democratic Leader Mark Schauer, and I, along with legislative members, have agreed to replace the service tax that went into effect at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2007.
