On Friday, July 22, I leave for Japan on an investment mission where I and my delegation of Michigan economic development officials will meet with Japanese business owners and government officials to encourage international investment to create jobs and grow Michigan's economy. Our message to Japanese companies is that North America's best technical and university research, high-tech manufacturing, and quality of life intersect in Michigan - making us a perfect hub for international investment.
