MDOT to invest $8 million in safety initiative for centerline rumble strips on rural highways

March 28, 2008 - - Today, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) announced a three year, $8 million safety initiative involving the installation of centerline rumble strips on 5,700 miles of rural, non-freeway roads across the state.
