When thinking of some ways to promote and improve Lincoln Park I started looking around me at work
Southfield is constantly promoting itself my sponsoring one thing or another
Things such as: Indian POW-WOW, antique show/sale, Mayor's walk, blood drive, concerts, daddy daughter dance, job fairs, Mayor's Round Table Discussion, Spa Expo and so on.
Best part is that the city has no out of pocket expense other that minor clean up
All the city has to do otherwise is provide the facilities to hold these events
And it brings thousands of people into the city for these events of which also improves it's image
I really believe these are all things our city can do as well
