Okay fella's...here is where we can gripe about all of the injustices committed against us because we have wieners.
For years, man sat at the throne of society. In many ways, they/we were wrong. But as I see it, today's man does not deserve the injustices we face so frequently.
I began a thread about men's parental rights and responsibilities; outlining how one-sided it is. We have no choice in the birth of the child. The woman can abort if she wishes...even if the man wants it. Conversely, the woman can have it if she wishes...even if the man doesn't. And then we get whacked with ex-support...er...excuse me. On the subject of insurance premiums, I've made a valid argument against the unfairness of charging men more than women. For what? Because we have a *****? If we were to have a sex change, our premiums would be lowered (this is true, I checked). Why? Because we are suddenly a different person with a calmer, less "dangerous", disposition? Domestic disputes. Why does the man always have to be the bad guy? When a man is assaulted by a woman, why does he practically have to pull teeth to get the law to take him seriously?
Traffic citations. Why are men less likely to get out of a ticket? Because we don't have low-cut blouses? Because we can't cry on demand?
So come on, fella's. Let's hear your stories of injustice. And when we're done, ask your wives and girlfriends for permission to join NOM: National Organization for Men.
In all seriousness, I just wanted to carve out a separate thread to give serious discussion to men and their loss of certain rights over the years. I'm not trying to be funny when I suggest we are not equal citizens in some capacities. I'd be curious to hear some stories.
