My sisters wedding to a guy we all like
Reinvigoated electorate (I'm imagining this will make the list for 2008 as well considering the record turnouts so far)
Improved sports scene in Detroit.

A beautiful, wonderful, delightful new grandson named Jackson (Jack!),
and my brother Henry married his wonderful Theresa after being together for 15 years.
