Huron Charter Township to Hold Job Fair for New Jobs within Huron
Township
New Boston, Michigan, April 29, 2008. Huron Charter Township will
hold a Job Fair, on Saturday, May 31, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00
p.m. at the Township Hall, located at 22950 Huron River Drive, New
Boston, Michigan. Any company located within the Township is invited
to participate in the Job Fair; however it will highlight three
companies that will open shortly or within the next 12-18 months.
These companies are:
Pinnacle Race Course: Post It Stables is scheduled to open Pinnacle
Race Course in July of 2008. Pinnacle Race Course will be the only
thoroughbred horse race track in the State of Michigan. It is
currently under construction at the northwest corner of Vining and
Sibley Roads.
Quality Pipe: Quality Pipe is a pipe fitting and valve manufacturer.
Quality Pipe will be located on the east side of Huron River Drive,
just south of Pennsylvania Road.
Great Lakes Recycling: Great Lakes Recycling is a full service
recycling processor. Their services include but not limited to on-
site pick of paper, metal, electronics, plastics and foam through
their commercial division, as well as office paper recycling through
their Corporate Office Recycling Program. The new recycling facility
will be located on the south side of South Huron Road between Waltz
Road and the railroad tracks. Interstate 275 is one half (1/2) mile
to the east.
Representatives of each company will be at the Township to provide
information on the type of jobs available and to take applications
from people who are interested in employment. Other companies who
would like to participate are welcome.
