Governor Granholm Appoints Poburto Liquor Control Commission

Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the appointment of Colleen A. Pobur to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. Pobur, of Plymouth is appointed to represent Democrats for a term expiring June 12, 2012.

It's a minor point but the author of the titles for the RSS feed is really good. He/She always uses an active verb right next to the Governor's name. The title is never "New Policy On Food Service Is Announced In Press Release By Granholm's Office". It is always "Granholm Appoints...", "Granholm Announces...", "Granholm Visits...", etc. This is good public relations and the press office should be commended. Not all our governments offices make for active reading.
