Idlewild Literary Landmark Celebration!

Please join us in Idlewild on Saturday, August 16th for a literary celebration of Charles Waddell Chesnutt, W. E. B. Du Bois, Langston Hughes and Zora Neale Hurston. Best-selling author Elizabeth Atkins will be speaking about the authors. The event also includes readings and performances of the authors' works and the unveiling of the literary landmark plaque. Music and refreshments begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Idlewild Historic Cultural Center, 7025 S. Broadway Street, Idlewild, Michigan.
