Since I don't have a regular newspaper delivery, I go to www.thecouponclippers.com (http://www.thecouponclippers.com) and sometimes will order grocery coupons from them. The mailing and cost is very minimal. You will find that in many items you have to purchase at least 5 of the coupons, but that's where sharing and bartering with your friends and family comes in.

Believe me, every penny counts!

You know, I give you credit... I hate shopping and half the time hate to admit it but I just grab things off the shelf and not even look at the price... I dont know if Its the fact that i always have the kids with me and just want to get out of there or if Im just too lazy... Either way I bet I would save a good amount of money If I started being we have a pretty nice sized family.

Jo-Jo,

I hate shopping, too! I clipped coupons when the boys were home, especially for cereal, because I was only getting social security back then. When I started working, I could afford to stop and just bought what I wanted....until I bought the house two years ago. I haven't had a raise at work in three years. If I had known that was going to happen, I wouldn't have bought the house. I was way better off financially when I was renting! Anyway, now that I am pretty much on a "fixed income," I have to try to cut corners any way I can. I have given up bowling, I have had to quit contributing to my 401K so I can make my car payment, etc., etc. I'm sure that there are a LOT of others who are in my predicament. All of my bills are paid (THANK GOD), and I am not able to find many coupons for the stuff that I buy, but every little bit helps.
